Biography
Alejandro Gastón Jantus Lordi de Sobremonte was born in Buenos Aires in 1971. His career combines journalism, sociology, publishing, research and strategic communication.
A professional journalist since 2002, he has written for newspapers and magazines in Italy and Argentina and has directed numerous editorial projects. In 2025 he founded NETMEDIACOM SRL, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer. He is President of the International Center for Social Research and Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Media and Digital Communication Studies — Sociological Perspectives on Communication in the Digital Age.
His research explores how media institutions, platforms, interfaces and public discourse shape visibility, credibility, belonging and social knowledge.
